The publication date for the Final Determination of Charges 2027-33 has been extended to 12 November 2026.
Following our consultation on the Draft Determination of Charges 2027–33, we received 51 responses from a range of organisations and individual customers. These responses included additional information and evidence that was not available when the Draft Determination was prepared.
To ensure that all consultation responses and supporting evidence are fully considered, WICS requested an extension to the timetable for completing the Final Determination. The Scottish Government has now confirmed an extension to the Strategic Review of Charges 2027–33 timetable.
WICS will now publish its Final Determination of charges on 12 November 2026, rather than 29 October 2026.
The revised publication date will allow WICS to complete its assessment of consultation responses and additional evidence submitted by stakeholders. It will also provide time for further consideration and development of regulatory arrangements for the 2027–33 period, including the proposed architecture for Scottish Water’s Delivery Plan.
